Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

The site of Bietigheim-Bissingen based in Germany belongs to BRAIN Division . We are looking for a VIE Project Buyer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

• You will manage the procurement of materials for mass production and projects, ensuring compliance with Valeo standards

• You will negotiate and manage pricing and agreements with suppliers, in collaboration with the site finance manager and segment managers

• You will ensure compliance by optimizing the implementation of all Valeo procurement procedures and standards

• You will maintain strong relationships with suppliers by coordinating and participating in regular evaluation meetings with preferred suppliers

• You will provide administrative support to the procurement management team as needed, ensuring smooth processes and communication

• You will promote best procurement practices rather than purely cost-driven decisions, ensuring quality and efficiency

• You will respond promptly to account-related requests and address any issues as they arise

Let’s talk about you...

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering

• You already have experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain/Logistics or Project Management (ideally in the automotive filed)

• You have a fluent level of English

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
