About the role

As a Lab Research Scientist in Liquid Development, you will contribute to hands-on laboratory work supporting the development, testing, and improvement of liquid consumer products. You will work closely with scientists, technicians, and project teams to generate reliable data, support scale-up activities, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and documentation throughout the development process.

This role is well suited for a technically skilled laboratory professional who enjoys practical experimentation, structured work, and continuous improvement in an industrial R&D environment.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and materials in line with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Perform laboratory experiments, including sample preparation, analytical testing, performance evaluations, and stability testing
• Follow and apply SOPs to ensure accurate documentation, reproducibility of results, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support pilot and industrial trials as well as product scale-up activities along the supply chain
• Conduct competitive product testing and comparative performance analyses
• Document, analyse, and present experimental results, highlighting findings, deviations, and improvement opportunities

The experience we're looking for

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or a comparable technical qualification
• Practical experience with laboratory techniques and routine experimental work
• Knowledge of technologies, manufacturing processes, and analytical methods relevant to liquid product development
• Basic understanding of R&D development processes and technical documentation
• Proficiency in German and working knowledge of English
