What you will do

• Handle inbound, warehousing and/or outbound processes, transportation to export customers, and related tasks like EDI management and complaint resolution.
• Process orders, invoices, and credit notes, ensuring compliance and documentation.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, comply with regulations, and address customer requirements in logistics.
• Contribute to projects related to warehousing and transport processes, logistics strategies, tenders, and standards.
• Monitor and address issues in operational processes, such as cost, performance, service, and quality.
• Identify improvement potentials, drive operational excellence in processes balancing service performance, cost and CO2 efficiency.
• Manage and communicate with warehousing transport service providers based on performance metrics and daily service delivery.
• Optional: Take over Key User responsibility for one or more sub-systems or processes (such as pallet management or transport control tower), providing support to users and initiating process improvements.

What you will need

• Completed studies in logistics, supply chain management, engineering or related field with 3 years (Bachelor’s degree) / 1 year (Master’s degree) relevant work experience
• Or completed vocational training as a foreign trade merchant or freight forwarding specialist with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in operational logistics, service management, or customer service
• Profound knowledge of ERP systems and processes, ideally including SAP SD, MM, as well as warehouse and transport management applications.
• Proficiency in all standard MS Office tools.
• Strong customer and service orientation.
• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
• Can-do attitude striving for excellence through continuous and sustainable improvement
• Fluent business English in speech and writing
